No. If you use DNSMod, you do not need to modify your hosts file to test your website before changing DNS settings. If you have already modified your hosts file you'll want to revert your changes and reset the hosts file back to default.
If your website does not listen for https requests, choose http when creating new links. If your website has a valid SSL certificate, select https when creating a new link. After changing your DNS, you will typically obtain an SSL certificate, not during testing.
Upgrade, Downgrade, or Cancel your account anytime from within your online account. Charges for plan changes will be pro-rated. If you cancel, your account access will be available until the end of the current billing term and will not renew.
To create an account, we ask for an email address and password. During checkout, you'll provide billing information. We don't ask for your name or address. Any information you provide after account creation is optional. You can view our privacy policy by clicking here.
If you only need to use our service for one project, we recommend choosing our cheapest plan and canceling before the next recurring billing date. You can cancel anytime from within your account. If you need us in the future you can always subscribe again.
